Permanent artistic installation, international competition.
Location: Rome, Italy.
Stakeholder: Fondazione MAXXI Roma.
Site: Contemporary art museum.
The international competition in MAXXI in Rome was a really good motivation to work with a sculpture to create a unique feeling in the space for the main entrance of the museum. The issue for the interior installation was the hang-up of the piece.
Firstly an aerial art installation let us thinking about colours and light- materials. The result is a cromatique waterfall made by recycled materials. It will be suspend in the air thanks to a steel cable. The pieces could change position respect the central axe in relation with the ventilation change direction in the building.
